Biography: A Career Defined by Progress and Success

From his early days as a novillero sin picadores (without picadors), Serrano showed a style built on clean lines and composure in the face of the bull. During this formative stage, he was crowned winner of the Gregorio Sánchez Memorial Competition and the Villamanta Contest, as well as reaching the final stages of prestigious events such as Kilómetro Cero and Camino Hacia Las Ventas 2023.

He made his debut with picadors on 23 June 2024 in Las Rozas de Puerto Real. In his first season in this new category, he fought seven novilladas picadas and claimed the “Judión de Oro” trophy after cutting two ears and leaving through the main gate — a major achievement that strengthened his regional standing.

The Turning Point: Circuito de Madrid 2025

The 2025 season marked his definitive breakthrough. In the qualifying round of the Circuito de Madrid in El Álamo, he was the highest-scoring bullfighter of the afternoon, earning direct passage to the semi-finals.

In Talamanca de Jarama, he delivered a commanding performance, cutting three ears and particularly shining with his faena to the young bull “Almejito”, which was awarded a lap of honour.

In the third semi-final in Alalpardo, he once again demonstrated his class against “Verbenero” from Montealto, cutting two ears after a mature and composed display.

The culmination came on 13 July 2025, when he was declared overall winner of the Circuito de Madrid at the Grand Final. He cut one ear from his first bull and two from “Frenoso” of Victoriano del Río, delivering a solid performance — especially on the left-hand side — that convinced the judging panel.

With this victory, Serrano established himself as one of the standout names in the junior ranks and a strong contender for prominent positions in upcoming fairs.
