The Plaza of Bulls of Burgos was opened in 1967 in charge of the enterprise "Dominguín" with Jaime Ostos swords, Manuel Benitez "El Cordobes" and Jose Manuel Inchausti "Tinín" with bulls of Pius Tabernero and one of The Campillones.  
With a schedule begins Sampedros full of activities involving all Burgos. The wreath of Santa Maria Maggiore, the singing of the Hymn to Burgos, dances and Gigantes and Cabezudos in the Plaza Mayor, the parade of floats, fireworks, parades, the Fairattractions, the free concientos the best artists of the day, celebrations and evening performances. Do not miss the last Sunday of the holidays, is celebrated the festival of "good food" declared Regional Tourist Interest.
