A recortes competition is a spectacle where participants, called recortadores, showcase their bravery and skill by dodging a bull without touching it. Instead of using a cape like in traditional bullfighting, they jump, spin, or duck at the last moment to avoid the bull’s charge. The winner is the one who performs the most spectacular and daring moves. It’s like a game of reflexes and courage against a fierce bull!
The Spanish Recortes Championship is the most important competition of this discipline in the country. The best recortadores in Spain face fierce bulls in iconic arenas, demonstrating their skill with spectacular recortes, quiebros, and jumps.

Format: Several qualifying rounds take place in different cities, with the best participants advancing to the grand final.
Judging: The jury evaluates the difficulty, precision, and spectacle of the moves.
National Final: Usually held at Las Ventas Bullring in Madrid, considered the most prestigious venue.

Tickets will be sent in PDF format between 3 and 4 days before the event.
