Bullring Huesca

Huesca belonging to the autonomous community of Aragon. Bullfighting Fair is held during the San Lorenzo festivities. These festivals are held from 9 to 15 August and are the major festivals as the patron of the city, are also celebrations of National Tourist Interest. Beginning on day 9 with chupinazo in Cathedral Square, and on the morning of day 10 (San Lorenzo), at the doors of the Church of San Lorenzo the Dancers perform different dances: the Swords, the Old and New Sticks, waltz of the Bands, and the Degollau. After the Royal Brotherhood of the Knights of San Lorenzo accompanies the image of the saint as the dancers interpret the Dance of Swords. In return, the dancers enter the basilica to the altar, before Papal Mass held. The holidays are filled with a diverse calendar of cultural and leisure activities. The symbols of the holidays are a white uniform and green scarf, and basil, grass land very common in Huesca.
