Bullring Plasencia

The bullring was inaugurated on June 18, 1882. It was built on grounds of el Cotillo of San Anton by a society of placentinos. The project was commissioned to the municipal architect Vicente Paredes Guillén. At its opening was grappled bulls of Trespalacios cattle by Frascuelo and Cara Ancha in a hand to hand. In 1894, the square was pasture fire, burning cables and boxes which were wooden. Society, can not rebuild it, ceded to the Town Hall. It was reopened in 1896, year in which two runs occurred. Cultural Interest Declared by the Junta de Extremadura.
