Bullring Vitoria, Iradier Arena Bullring. The first celebrations in this square occurred in the year 1789 to celebrate the proclamation of Carlos IV. It was restored in 1941 and was demolished in 2006. Concluding works and inaugurating the current square on November 4 of the same year. Vitoria bullring is called "Iradier Arena" in honor of four illustrious "Iradieres" of the city of Vitoria: Pantaleón Iradier, the architect who designed the old bullfighting square of the city and the building that houses the Vasco Parliament; Cesáreo Iradier, the architect who built the main theater of the city; the musician Sebastián Iradier and Explorer Manuel Iradier.
