Bullfighter Andy Cartagena

Date of Birth: On December 30th, 1980, in Benidorm (Alicante).

Debuted in public: On February 25th, 1996, in Nimes. The presentation in Spain was in March of that year in Beniel, Murcia.

Debuted at Las Ventas: On May 17th, 1997.

 Alternative: On March 8th, 1997, in Castellon de la Plana (Castellón) with bulls of Ortigao Costa. They were also on the poster Leonardo Javier and Hernández Buendia.

Since his debut in Nimes, in 96, the nephew of Ginés Cartagena and placed in the top 54 festivals in the bullfighting season. A throughout his short career has experienced a remarkable technical evolution that has brought greater serenity, although this has not led to the resignation of the spectacular that is in his blood. His is a bullfighting a different cut, with a personal and fresh style. His uncle was the ill-fated Gines Cartagena and his father was with him as sword handler. Today Martínez Uranga and Alejandro da Silva are charged with directing in his career as parents.

His first position in the ranking is backed by a collection of large doors and wins in the main squares such as Madrid, Zaragoza, Castellon, Valencia, Malaga, Murcia, Albacete, Huelva and Huesca, among others.
