Bulls Prieto de la Cal

Owner: Don Tomás Prieto de la Cal Picón.

Currency: red and yellow.

Acronym: UHQ

Ear signal: Fig leaf on the right and spearhead on the left.

Ranch farm: La Ruiza, San Juan del Puerto (Huelva).

History: Prieto de la Cal is a breeding of fighting bulls in the province of Huelva and belongs to Tomás Prieto de la Cal y Picón, IV Marquis de Seoane. This iron is one of the most consolidated and prestigious of the Spanish bulls, both for its age and its encaste, as it is the only one that retains pure Veragua blood of one of the seven founding castes of the fighting bull: the caste vazqueña.

This ranching comes from the old Florentino Sotomayor herd.

The cattle ranch's motto is scarlet and gold; with a fig leaf sign and a spear point in the ears of the bulls.
