Born in Samora Correia, Portugal, on 27 March 1994, Luis Rouxinol Jr. grew up under the influence of one of the great names in rejoneo: his father, Luis Rouxinol. Surrounded from childhood by horses, dehesas and bullrings, he inherited not only respect for bullfighting but also a passion to continue a family legacy.

He trained in the art of classical Portuguese rejoneo, mastering horsemanship, refining his timing against the bull’s charge and forging a personal style in the arena. His progress was never simply a gift of his surname: each pass, each challenge, each bullring conquered has been earned through discipline, preparation and courage.

His public debut came in 2010, when he began to stand out as one of the most promising rejoneadores of his generation.
