Debut without picadors: on September 9, 2009 at the Feria de Tovar in Merida (Venezuela) with steers from San José.
Debut with picadors: on August 9, 2013 in Gijón with Francisco José Espada and José Garrido, steers of Nazario Ibáñez Azorín.
Debut in Las Ventas: on July 12, 2015 with a bullfight of Toros de La Plata and accompanied by Jorge Escudero and Guillermo Valencia.
He is brother of the bullfighter Julio César Vanegas, of the young bullfighter Anyinson Vanegas and uncle of the matador Antonio José Ramos and of the novillero Ángel Ramos.
He finished 2016 leader of the scale with 28 bullfights where he cut 34 ears and a tail.
His manager is Didier Cabanis.
