The city of Guadalajara has officially unveiled the full line-up for its much-anticipated 2025 Feria Taurina de la Antigua. With four major bullfights, a recortes competition and a practical class, the Coso de Las Cruces will host some of the biggest names in bullfighting. Tickets are now on sale through Servitoro, available online, by phone or via WhatsApp.
Guadalajara is already buzzing with excitement as the fair season approaches. This morning, Mayor Ana Guarinos presented the official bullfighting programme for the Feria de la Antigua 2025, joined by Santiago López, Councillor for Festivities; Antonio Matilla, representing the promoter Funtausa; and local bullfighter Víctor Hernández, warmly applauded following his recent return to the ring.
During her speech, the mayor highlighted that “the 2025 bullfighting fair will offer a line-up worthy of the very best arenas, with a strong commitment to bullfighting and to the Feria de la Antigua as one of the city’s cultural cornerstones.” She also paid tribute to Víctor Hernández, who will return to perform in his hometown after suffering a serious injury in Torrejón de Ardoz. “Guadalajara is home for me, and to be included on the bill for the third consecutive year is an enormous honour,” said the young matador.
Councillor Santiago López also celebrated the growing prestige of the fair, stating that “Guadalajara's bullfighting culture now stands alongside the top cities in Spain,” and emphasised the perfect balance between tradition, young talent and major stars.
