Friday, September 4 | Mixted Bullfight
On Friday, September 4, 2026, at 9:00 p.m., the Mérida Bullring will host a mixed bullfighting event combining bullfighting on foot, rejoneo, flamenco and the excitement of the forcados.
Morante de la Puebla, renowned for his distinctive approach to bullfighting and artistic inspiration, will share the bill with prominent Portuguese rejoneador Marcos Bastinhas, a specialist in horseback bullfighting, who will face two bulls.
The evening will also feature a performance by flamenco singer Israel Fernández, one of the most acclaimed voices in contemporary flamenco, from a stage set up in the bullring’s toril area.
The event will be rounded off by the participation of a group of forcados, bringing the strength and distinctive character of Portuguese bullfighting tradition to the spectacle
