The 2026 San Sebastián Bullfighting Fair will once again establish Illumbe as one of the premier bullfighting venues of the summer, with an outstanding programme taking place from 13 to 15 August during the city's famous Semana Grande (Aste Nagusia) celebrations. Three top-class bullfights will bring together many of today's leading matadors, creating a fair that appeals both to seasoned enthusiasts and to visitors wishing to experience the excitement of Spanish bullfighting for the first time.
The programme combines prestigious breeding ranches, internationally renowned matadors, established stars and emerging talents, offering a varied and high-quality festival. Together with the unique festive atmosphere of San Sebastián in August, the fair has become one of the most attractive bullfighting events on the Spanish summer calendar.
