Logroño Ganadería Competition Bullfight Tickets 2026 | Morante, Talavante and Fabio Jiménez
One of the most distinctive events of the 2026 San Mateo Fair takes place on Tuesday 22 September with a ganadería competition bullfight, a format particularly appreciated by serious bullfighting enthusiasts.
Six bulls from Garcigrande, Alcurrucén, La Ventana del Puerto, Domingo Hernández, García Jiménez and Carmen Lorenzo will provide an opportunity to compare different bloodlines, characteristics and styles of bull.
They will be faced by Morante de la Puebla, Alejandro Talavante and Fabio Jiménez. Morante and Talavante bring two of the most recognisable artistic styles in contemporary bullfighting, while Fabio Jiménez faces a major challenge in front of his home crowd.
The variety of breeding ranches and the presence of Morante and Talavante make this one of the most distinctive events of the fair.
